Is the student version a scaled down or lite version of the Retail package?

The software packages are identical to the retail versions and are not cut down in any way or form. The only difference is in the terms of use outlined by Adobe. Click here to download Adobe's info sheet: Icon Student Package Info (419.9 KB)

How many times can I use the license

The student editions can only be installed once on a computer. You can however De-Register the copy from that computer and install it again on a new one if you replace your machine.

Why is the software so cheap?

Learning Curve has been working hard to try and get the best possible pricing for the education market. We focus 100% on eduction and have in partnership with Adobe made great strides in making the software more accessible to students and education in general.

I received my software - where is my serial number?

Adobe has implemented a system whereby you must apply for your serial number if you purchase the Student version. This is to protect themselves from people abusing the discount offered to students. I need to use the software now! I can't wait for Adobe to send me the serial number

If you have a project due and need to use the software as soon as you receive it then you can install it on a 30 day trial basis. The important thing to note here is that you must select International English from the drop down menu when it asks you which programs you would like to install. If you don't do this your serial number will not work!

I didn't do as above and now i get a red cross when I try enter the serial number?
